Our doors open to the makers of tomorrow.

On Wednesday, 29 April 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming 27 fifth- and sixth-year students in Biotechnological and Chemical Techniques from the Institute of the Ursulines in Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver to UTB.

This was not a traditional school day, but a behind-the-scenes look at a real development and production environment. The students had the opportunity to observe our production processes up close and discover how knowledge from the classroom comes to life in practice. During the visit, they saw how supplements are developed and produced step by step, with attention to safety, hygiene, accuracy and quality.

It was not just about observing. The students also had the chance to take part in several hands-on activities, including development and testing procedures as well as quality controls. This allowed them to experience how important precision and control are at every stage of the production process.

For us, it was a pleasure to welcome this enthusiastic group of young people. By opening our doors, we want to show how many interesting opportunities lie behind a production company, from laboratory work and quality to production and process monitoring. In this way, we also aim to actively contribute to education and to the development of young people by offering them practical experience, inspiration and a clearer view of possible future paths.

We would like to thank the students and supervisors from the Institute of the Ursulines in Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Waver for their interest, curiosity and pleasant visit. Hopefully, they returned to school with new insights, practical experience and perhaps even an extra dose of inspiration for the future.
